Calley Brandon-Laux

Vice President

Calley is a fantastic refereeCalley Brandon-Laux, has been a member of the Oregon Hockey Community for over fifteen years. In that time, she brings not only experience, knowledge and passion, but also a wonderful caring spirit towards her hockey family. She has officiated at multiple Pacific District Tournaments, Tier I and Tier II National Championships, Team USA National events, and has been brought up through the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program at various camps. In 2022, she attended and completed USA Hockey Instructor Camp in Minneapolis, Minnesota and discovered that her passion is in teaching and mentoring new officials. Her experiences mean nothing to her without having the opportunity to help develop other officials and share her passion and craft. To add to this, in 2022, Calley met the challenge head on and attended High Performance and Elite Camp and earned her IIHF license. This great achievement was in part due to her performance at the USA Women’s Olympic Team try-outs in Buffalo, New York.

Despite the loss of two of her greatest mentors, Calley has remained highly motivated and determined to help others towards their dreams and goals in this world renowned sport. As always, she continues to push her limits towards Men’s Professional Hockey and the Winter Olympic Games, and strives to elevate those around her in the game she calls her first love
