The safety of its participants is of paramount importance to USA Hockey.

All adult officials, are required to submit to a background screen to work youth hockey.

To completely register with USA Hockey as an official you need to complete five steps each year:

For the 2024-2025 season, video modules are incorporated into this year's seminar.

(For 2024-25) All Playing Rule Exercises will be included in the classroom seminar curriculum. You will receive Open Book Exam credit when your classroom seminar attendance roster is submitted to USA Hockey.

For 2024-2025, all Classroom Seminars will be hosted virtually. There are no in-person seminars.
